The 25 Book Campaign is a component of the America's Choice Design, a comprehensive program of standards-based education and training that College Hill Middle School, North Heights Junior High, and Arkansas High School have adopted. The America's Choice Program uses standards-based curriculum and teaching strategies that focus on improving reading and math skills. The goal of the campaign is to get students to read one million words or the equivalent of twenty-five books a year and to create a culture of literacy in the school. Students will maintain a book log indicating the books that have been read, and Reader's Response Walls located throughout the school will allow students to post their book reviews.
